About Us
National Institute of Education (NIE) is one of the first private educational institute to start the BS programs in different subjects in Dir lower Malakand Division KPK. NIE is established in 2020 with the aim to provide a quality education at doorstep in Dir lower. The slogan of the institute “A journey to excellence”. National Institute of Education is located near the main city of Timergara which is just away of about 4 Kilometer from the main city.
National institute of Education is registered with Higher Education Regulatory Authority (HERA) Peshawar Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and affiliated with University of Malakand (UOM) Chakdara Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The vision of this institute is to provide high standards of education which ranked among the top institute of quality education. To start different type of higher education in this backward area of KPK.
1. To set such standard which laid down by Higher Education Commission in term of knowledge and skills. 2. To encourage collaboration with national & international bodies in various fields of common interest. 3. To overcome the shortage of BS program in the country. 4. To provide such environment that is conductive to the evaluation of critical thinking, research and experiment for the benefit of community. 5. To educate and provide quality education to the people of the region.
I consider it a great privilege for me to record my message as the vice chancellor of University of Malakand regarding National institute of Education Timergara, which is the first ever private institute affiliated with University of Malakand for BS degree programs, located in Dir lower. Due to increasing demand for higher studies, I believe that there must be enough number of BS colleges to overcome the shortage as government colleges cannot do it alone. I appreciate the decision of the administration of National Institute of Education to start such type of BS College for providing education to the people of Pakistan especially KPK. I hope that student will leave no stone unturned to materialize their dreams. Moreover the Institute is advised to provide appropriate and conducive environment to students for learning and co-curricular activates.
